According to CBS Sports, the president of Indiana Larry Bird said club owner Herb Simon that will leave his post at the end of the season. In a conversation with a few others from the league Byrd said that took a firm decision, and Simon did notneed to wait for the season to start looking for a replacement.
The legendary striker Boston became president, Pacers in 2003. From 1997 to2000 he worked as the head coach of Indiana.
